Your right about shell plays, but not with billions of shares. They only work when the buyers control the stock they get and cannot get hurt by covering the sells. Also we do not know what contingent liabilities exist with pig in the poke. Usually a clean shell with a low number of shares is worth money but in this case i do not think so.
