wreckdiver, i agree that one could find "cool" stuff and that the gov't is willing to work with us, but the history really speaks for itself as far as how rich in treasure it actually is.... i would rather see someone work something out with jamaica or cuba eventually... so many people have screwed up and non performed in jamaica already on a literal treasure laden graveyard in the pedros....in my opinion.... i think that the bahamas is working on lifting their moratorium as well and that, i believe, is about the best bet for an expedition. the silver shoals definately would produce wrecks, but it is expensive to work there with the commute, if you will, and now the price of fuel is really getting to be a significant factor. unfortunately, burt webber has really messed things up for any honest ambitious leader or crew, since who would NOT be a little, or ALOT, gun shy to invest large amounts of money to pursue someone else's ideas and desires. i would look at the size of the potential leader's family first....hahahahahaahaha....see how many weebles one might have to end up supporting. JUST my OPINION as always.
