Actually Mr. Rodriguez didn't know a thing about the oil field until just recently. (5 years ago was the first time he knew how to spell oil) He was in the banking business just out of college, worked as an assistant for a few years and was then let go. Then he started a company involved in the stock market called Snow Runner which sold ski equipment and snowboards based in Colorado. This company failed and ended in bankruptcy. Immediately he then turned this company into an apparel business called XDOGS where the ticker was xdgs. Again in the stock market. As usual, this company also failed into bankruptcy. Only after XDGS (based in the state of Nevada) was Avalon Oil and Gas born and under the ticker XDGS just long enough to complete the bankruptcy proceedings. At this time the ticker was AOGS which again ran out of money. He then did a reverse split (20 for 1) and in turn changed the ticker to AOGN. If you include this split, and you should, the stock price of this company should be around .0003 per share. Sad.
There has been a few times a dividend was due and promised to the shareholder but was never paid. Mainly on the count of spinoffs. AOGN had acquired a few different technologies from sources such as the University of Wyoming and by the way, was paid for by the shareholder. The shareholder never saw a penny of this money.
UTEK which is basically a holding company based on the structure of AOGN actually funded AOGN more than once and by the way was paid and is still being paid in stock. If you look at the transactions you will see that UTEK was actually overpaid for their services. At least in my research, UTEK was paid about 10 times more for their services than they should have been. I would have never made these deals with UTEK but Mr. Rodriguez did at the shareholders expense.
If you dig deep enough you will find all this to be true.

I have a lot more. I know everything about this company but I am allowed only one post per day. I am only trying to save the shareholder a lot of pain concerning this company. Many investors in the recent past have been burned badly regarding AOGN and Mr. Rodriguez.

If you must buy shares of this company (I wouldn't recommend it) the stock price should be around .003 pretty soon. I would wait until then to play this company. Then it would be a one time deal only.
