Well Dollar I expect to hear a great report on the DD the former HHS of the United States and his group completed prior to signing off on the deal they made with the company.
Even though I do not claim to know him personally in any capacity, and have no direct "insider" access, I do know some people who knew him as Governor of Wisconsin ,and also know some who were quite involved with him on National health care issues when he was HHS. These people met with Mr. Thompson & Ex-President Bush on the National Health Care Plan options. Their reputation is almost beyond reproach with me and they carry a very well respected 20+ year position in the health care industry. They may possibly know you also. I did however call them to ask if they were on this board under the alias "DollarAtATime" but they have indicated they were not.
Once I saw Mr. Thompson was involved with this company I did call them to determine his level of honesty & knowledge of the healthcare issues as they stand today, and in the future. They have vouched for his knowledge, honesty, compassion and determination to see issues through to the end. They however have not had contact with him recently. I did attempt to contact them again yesterday to complete more DD, but they are currently out of the Country. I will ask them next time I can contact them about any of the HHS associates, maybe they do know you and can vouch for you from their perspective.
This is why I am so interested in your conversation with him if you know him that well. I am looking for actual second party DD on him, but the question foremost in my mind (and I’m quite sure in others minds as well) is why all these well respected high level industry owners and board directors are jumping on this opportunity? I believe we are all missing something here that they have knowledge of.
I agree this is probably a long-term investment DollarAtATime, but pertinent, unbiased and timely knowledge from an “insider” such as you would be very valuable at this point. After reading all the bashers comments that are looking at this from the outside with little actual inside access or knowledge that people such as you have, we “common folk” could use some clean information.
