At IMGG we are working on the scanner and cart (computer) communications which was something of a challenge but we now have the two devices shaking hands at 1 GBPS which is ample for even our biggest data set. In full res mode we’re kicking out more than 40 MB per second and that can go higher depending on the image being taken. With these we had buffer overflow problems but that’s been solved and it’s almost as big a deal as the 3D real-time algorithms. Other’s have not been able to do this,
