Senior Medical Director
Responsibilities:
· Assist in the development of clinical research programs including protocols, CRFs and regulatory submissions
· Oversee clinical trial conduct and CRO performance
· Medical evaluation of adverse events
· Analyze and report data, with biostatistics support
· Evaluation and oversight of PK/PD studies
· Participate in medical assessment for due-diligence evaluations of new chemical entities being considered for further development
· Assist with publication strategy for Genta products
· Public presentation of Genta clinical programs and results
· Medical affairs support including medical oversight of Phase IV Investigator Sponsored Trials
Requirements
Qualifications:
· Doctorate degree
· MD and Board Certified preferred or eligible in Oncology
· 2 years prior pharma/biotech industry experience in a similar role
· Familiarity with U.S. regulatory submission requirements and processes; international experience a plus
· Experience with protocol writing and management
· Strong presentation and communication skills
· Familiarity with U.S. opinion leaders in the oncology community
· Team player with strong interpersonal skill set with the ability to establish effective relationships internally and externally
· Strong knowledge of computers and standard computer applications
