Here I go again needing help from those far smarter than I
(on this subject anyway...lol).

The more I read this report the more confused and befuddled I become. Let me throw some bullets your way and hopefully you'll pick up on my distress over Block 2, Bomu 1...

...NSAI unrisked prospective - 4.7 billion barrels of oil

...subsequent evaluation by operator (SNP) - P50 unrisked prospective - 3.9 billion barrels of oil

...discovery of gas rather than oil was disappointing

...reservoir sands and traps as expected

Not only does the above leave me helpless, I find it incredibly difficult to believe that results indicated to us (gas - yes/oil - no )are true. How can both
NSAI/SNP, etc. make projections as noted above and end up with results which read "ZIP"? Is this variation realistic in the oil exploration business?
