I think you have to find kind of a balance point timmy...I see the point you're making and don't think I haven't thought of this myself...but, depending on your perspective of life, shoichi's point has a lot of relevance when he says:
"If you know HOW to make money in the market, and do so consistently, trust me my friend, you WILL find capital to work with."
