I agree, if Q ends up ONLY on Dish or DirecTV, then the GLBT community would probably jump through the hoops necessary to receive it. But that thought process is still "worst case scenario" which is negative. I'm thinking a more positive stance is that they won't have to because it will be easier to get.

"...check one of those out, they are out for blood most of the time." Funny!

"Either carriers are on the way, or there is a specific reason we are not getting them, thats a fact and no other way to put it." Regardless of how many ways there are to 'put' something, there are always three ways to interpret anything. Positive/Neutral/Negative. Which do you feel you operate from most of the time? To say there is a specific reason may mean to you that something is wrong. When I read that, I think neither right nor wrong. I think there is a reason(s) and information I do not have so I wait for it to come. In the mean time, I imagine the best case scenario because I like feeling good. Fear/worry are imaginative aspects of thought.

Giving up attachment to the outcome is giving up control that I never had in the first place. Anytime one says, "why this?" or "How come that?" they are trying to control. They are comparing what simply is with what they have formed in their mind. The most challenging thing for me is to truly accept people and things for how they are moment to moment. Not as I think they are, how I want them to be, or how they appeared 5 minutes ago. The stock market is the ultimate truth for that. As much as it changes, it is always perfect and 'right' and I must accept it or be upset. I spent 39 years being upset... been there, done that.
