From time-line 2000 "Dave Shade designs and builds world’s first wireless internal body cavity search device for a Saudi prince. A five volt camera was used; Liquid Sand of California, custom blew the glass device. A process designed by Dave Shade and Byron of Liquid Sand allowed the camera to see at such close range. A small LED white light was used at the tip to make sure there was enough light to see color in such a dark environment. The unit was demonstrated at our Costa Mesa facility before delivery to the Saudi prince."
