I've sold too early too many times, and so it has changed how I look at things...

Just in the last few months, among others, I had large positions in SKGO 0002 (ran to 01) , HESG 0002 (ran to 002s) , GOIG 000s (ran to 06s), SVMI 000s (ran to 07s), HPNN 000s (ran to .01) and that is just this year. a LOT more over the years.. still made great gains, but nowhere nearly maximized them.

I always sold too soon. You sell thinking you'll be able to buy a dip. But at some point the real winners don't give you an opportunity to buy back on dips, and get any kind of size in your position again.

so after after a few of those, every now and then I just decide to get stubborn, and wait longer as a longer term investor.

but if you need to flip for small gains and pay the rent, sometimes you don't have the option.
