Pure speculation but I have seen countless times where lots of trades go through at odd numbers. What I assume this is, is an indirect method to let other MM know that they are covering to back off for a bit so that can get full again. I have documented it to the point I ca tel which MM is doing it. look for 999900, or 97000, and so on.. Yep, Its all a funny little BS game.
