Hey Slick,

You're damn right on that sentiment. Seems that all of the stocks in this area have been driven downward. Is it the MM's, or the scamsters, or could it simply be the lack of overall trust on the part of the investors/market.

Keep in mind that in pinky land, the primary goal for most investors is to get in and get out quickly and take profits....then get back in and do it all over again.

The way I see it is this. We have a brand new market sector where essentially not one single public company has yet to forge a solid and definitive path within it. So for us retail investors, that is quite scary, and I would imagine would make us even more skittish about doing anything other than what I referred to earlier in terms of how the vast majority of traders in pinky land conduct themselves.

Look at MJNA....from what I can make of the overall playing field, they are the only company (other than CMSI) of all the MMJ plays, that have actually materially done anything as relates to their business plan, ie, holding their events where people actually pay money to see their speakers. Yet, their shareprice has dropped from the mid twenties (where I bought in) to the teens...so why should this be? There is no confidence in the industry yet...in simple terms.

We have federal laws that still prohibit the distribution of marijuana for any reason, and a temporary reprieve from this in the form of Obama's call to back off of those states where it has been deemed legal by state mandate to distribute MMJ. But that could change with the swearing in of a new regime in the white house, which in essence could wipe out any company whose primary source of revenue is the sale of MMJ.

So that can't be a fortifying factor for investors coming into this market sector, right? Then consider those entities that do not want to see MMJ become a success since it would threaten their own market share in competing products, ie, alcohol and the big pharmas. Not to mention law enforcement....

These institutions come replete with money and political power that could easily stack the cards against these fledgling companies from having any success through a myriad of methods...one being sending naysayers to the message boards (the lifeblood of such companies), to begin an assault on the confidence of investors (not traders), thus restricting the vast pool of the trading community in these companies to short-term players that will most certainly keep the SP stymied to the point of impotence (their ultimate goal since a low SP means very limited power and influence in the political world).

We need one player to breakout and engage in a successful and profitable year of functioning IMO, and then the other existing entities in this sector will blow up. It would need to pool all the resources it could muster by perhaps banding together with other companies and ultimately finding a way to quickly and stealthily shore up its SP to a place where it becomes a "potent" player capable of fending off all the forces I previously referred to that would seek to harm it.

Could HESG/IMAI/Organic Science be that player? I don't know....but I plan to be holding my tickets in the front row if it happens!
