I was doing some research on the Brunners and came across the following web site that appears to be put up by Steve and Sherry Brunner.

If the story is true, then Steve may have been occupied by his fight with cancer, although the timeline in the story runs out over two years ago. It may even explain his possible disinterest in continuing to run TATF if he has survived a terminal diagnosis and is no longer interested in worldly pursuits. Or, possibly, the cancer has returned....
