I can't see the actual trade; however, if your trade goes through on the bid, it is treated as a sell, if goes through at the ask it is treated as a buy.
What can be misleading is the size from time to time.
Imagine a person placing a large order (for say 300k shares) to buy on the ask. However he only gets filled 50k shares and then the ask rises. Later he receives a fill (while on the bid, but this is treated as a sell).
So that total fill for an order of 300k could look like a 50k buy and a 250k sell; instead of a straight 300k buy and no sell.
So it's not something that has a straight answer especially when volume isn't large enough to be a more natural market of buyers/sellers. Small volume allows for manipulation both ways unfortunately in pinkland.
Today could be considered a sale day by looking at buys/sells only, but it also shows strong bid support as some decent blocks were absorbed with no change in bid. Stock appears under accumulation still imo. However volume not significant yet, so folks aren't able to build large positions (millions) by sitting on bid. If buying pressure comes and they are not filled, it could help accelerate the PPS and make them strongly consider raising the bids or just giving up and hitting the ask to get their fill before it leaves a certain range (aka .0125).
Clearly some still are hopeful of .0105 or even .01......
Some want to buy as low as possible, others just know they want more at reasonable prices with forward looking events coming upon us. Seems both traders and longs "want more"; wonder how many MMs want with likely limit buy orders above resistance (aka .0125) waiting for breakout momentum......
