TMTA offers little but Qs for 2005

Seasons greatings to all. Best wishes for 2005.

big120pw, I share your concerns and then some.

I have been watching TMTA from the sidelines for a few months and, frankly, no longer feel that I have any handle at all on the company. Is there anything happening at TMTA?

The Yahoo board still seems to be mostly as optimistic as ever, but all I see are areas of concern:

The 4Q numbers probably are bad, but how bad?

Is there any reason for optimism for forward guidance for 1Q05?

Is E2 with LR2 sampling? It was supposed to happen by EOY.

Was there any upfront payment for the license acquired by Fujitsu, or was this a non-cash contribution by TMTA towards its share of the new Fujitsu fab? (my guess)

Are there any further upfront license payments expected from NEC to bail out quarterly revenues?

Shouldn't more LR2 licenses have materialized by now? Perhaps the lack of patent protection is an impediment?

Are E2s being produced in quantity at a price where they can be sold for a profit or is this awaiting the opening and ramp of the expanded fab? or customers?

Any new OEMs being signed for E2?

Whatever happened to the ULV version of the E2? and/or the 2GHz version?

When will Vulcan's Flipstart be introduced? Will it use the E2 instead of the Crusoe?

How should Pacific Growth's (B Alger)decision to cease following TMTA be viewed? Brian always seemed a supporter of the company but now feels the company isn't worth analysis?

Presumably, TMTA has or soon will cut into its $50 million stash. Shouldn't a major stock offering be anticipated, which would be very dilutive at current stock pricing.

I find it hard to feel positive about the company these days. Any reason to be optimistic?

wsh
