It'd make sense to try to limit the amount of damage by the oil slick if they'd do more than put human hair, oil booms, and burning. I understand that they have to cap the well. I found it a little humorous that it's so cold down there that the ice crystals made the larger dome unable to cap the leak.

On a side note. Isn't it ironic that the obama admin is not getting much heat (very little) from the media? If bush were still in office, or a republican, you know they'd be all over them for not doing enough, hating the environment, and not holding BP responsible. They face a small amount of criticism. Double standards.
