I_banker, Are you saying that emachines no longer intends to build any AMD based desktops?

You can find what exactly I´m saying in the posts I´ve made on this board and SI.

What are you basing this prognostication on?

Information I´ve received about Gateway´s / eMachines new retail line-ups ("Winter"). Some of those systems are already listed on the site, the T3256 (Athlon XP-powered) is already gone.

Others should reach retailers in the next weeks/months, depending
on how quickly older models get sold off.
