That was a pretty thoughtful response, even though it sounds like you were eager to get back to your game.

Re: TA wise we should see a continued consolidation until either news good or bad breaks it from that trend; the calm before the storm (and or boom) you might call it.

One thing I notice about stocks like INTC is that when good news finally does arrive, trigger happy investors will price it in faster than most people like myself have a chance to react. If you read Fowler's post, I pretty much feel the same way, except that I'm leaning towards scenario #2. If I'm going to have any chance of riding a prospective uptick, I'll need to wager my $$ in advance, which is sort of what I'm doing. I usually justify the risk from a technical perspective, which is why I post a lot from the technical side. My current holding in INTC is rather small - most of what I had I sold at $35, but I'm looking to get back in. Some people I've spoken to see Intel falling to $12, but I'd like to get a little more details behind such a scenario before I buy into it. If someone could convince me about a given market size, given margins, ASPs, etc, and explain that long term earnings won't exceed the current levels, then I would be more apt to agree that Intel's valuation is too low to invest in the stock. Until then, I'm just gathering information, and sharing what I know to the equation, while hoping that someone will pick up on what I have to say.

Anyway, thanks for dropping by. Enjoy your game.
