'Nerd' would never be a word to describe you. As a former Certified Financial Planner I worked with many CPA's and I have only good things to say about them. The last part of your post was very emotional. I like that quality in people. Also, I totally understand the deferred part of your post regarding reducing current income. You're in a profession that is highly regarded and needed by many people. GLTY
