In a way I should respond to you in an "angry" tone since you seem to be posting that article to give hope to the masses BUT since I do understand your point I won't.

For over 4 years I have been locked in a "death-match" with the SEC.

To cut to the point, I disagree with how Congress is trying to "fix" the SEC, I believe they should jail most employees and start from square one.

And it is not just the Naked Shorting...what about all of the "CEO's" who relies on the ability to trade their stock, R/S and trade again without ever producing any real "product" at all.

While I see the "loop holes" concerning these two issues and a few others, what is most upsetting to me is how the SEC treats shareholders!!!

It took me almost 3 months to get my State Senator's office to see how the SEC is in a world of their own.

As a retired police officer, I can accept that the SEC cannot tell you how an investigation is going, but their attitude (and rules) saying they cannot "acknowledge" that a complaint was files is ridicules. When my Senator's office sent them a copy of the compliant I sent them, asking if they received it, they refused to comment.

Every person who trades stock, no matter how big of an investor should call your Senator (The Senate overseas Banking/Investments) and demand that the SEC be overhauled!
