Has anyone tried this oilspill see where it connects you. My mom did and the lady answering the phone had no idea what she was talkinging about. it was not a special hotline and the folks answering the phone are clueless. Once my mom told the lady had read a news release was suppose to be a information/volunteer hotline the lady did take her name number email. then a few minutes later they sent her a generic email stating " thank you for contacting BP for employment information and inquiries it may take a few days due to yada yada yada. I told the PRPRO guy this and there has been no reply. I also told them when the news relase was printed they are not connection folks to the right place there is a special line managed and set up by other companies that people are directed to call for assistance, volunteering and reporting oilspillage that will get results for callers in need or reporting issues.

try it for yourself

this is again another reason the marketing department or front office continue to show they are not quaified to market this product. They should have reached out to folks first before they fired off this release they should have verified the service they set up would put people in touch with the right person. THey did not. Also when I called to provide assistance and give them information i followed it up with an email. I have had no response to either.

Yes the intent was good but the way they put in to action the good intentions was just a knee jerk reaction without a game plan.
