If that were the reason they would be reincorporating in the UK. To my knowledge they are not. They will remain a U.S. Colorado corporation making a Chinese direct acquisition problematic. All of this is a moot point unless ERHC is sitting on a ton of oil. The U.S. isn't going to block the purchase of non-commercial gas fields.

It'll be interesting to see what the final recommendation Strand Hanson comes up with. ERHC still could pull up roots and move everything to London, where their now permanent CEO resides.
