Years ago I worked for a company that would buy used computer equipment for pennies on the dollar and sell it for a huge profit. As to why they were able to buy the equipment so cheap? Well, the seller had older equipment that it needed to get rid of. The company I work for had the ways and means to find the right buyers. It’s all about having the right contacts. I know nothing about Helicopter parts, but it could be highly profitable.
Now you could also question where they came up with $150MM and will the value change over 5 to 7yrs. Is that present value, future value? Is it an estimate? Will it Depreciate? Will it appreciate? Still a lot of questions, but it could be huge profits for QASP.
