Its nuts. Arizona has become the kidnap capital of the world, and it all stems from the activity south of the border. We keep hearing that the reasons so many come here are for jobs, in particular in agriculture. Lets see here?. Its estimated that there are 12 to 20 million illegals, the govt's estimates. Its plausible that there could be 50m. Our population has jumped from 300m to 350m in relative short period of time. I don't know if these figures come from the Census Bureau or not but this is suppose to be the number. If these are legal numbers maybe we're at 400m an counting. Whatever the case, 12m or 20m is alot of agricultural jobs. This would be 4 to nearly 7x the entire population of Chicago, or 1.5 to 2.5x that of NY.
Are the illegals on the Census list?, did they get Census forms?. Whats the point of this if there are so many illegals?. The Fed, and State govts take care of them even though they are not a part of the Cenus. For sure the govt knows as much about the rest of us as we do about ourselves.
Its hard to imagine, but gangs have spread from Anchorage to Miami, most of California, to Maine. 115 gangs in Anchorage alone, and the number of untold murders left in their wake would stagger anyone. Whether its Obama, or any politician who states, thinks, or believes that the illegal immigration problem is not a threat to this nations security needs to look at the facts. Obama said he will not tackle the issue this year. Like the past presidents who haven't tackled it?. Not for decades, so whats another year?. Why risk the loss of hispanic voters?
Until they stop this problem they will never ever ever get a handle on this gang activity. It may be way way late already. Its Mexico, South America, and in Miami its Haitians among many of the black gangs, the bloods, crypts etc,. but with our lax immigrant policies the numbers become more exacerbated. These gangs are growing exponentially. The law hasn't been able to conquer it own home grown terrorist, and for decades now have contributed to this out of control national problem, while continuing to allow this to get bigger an bigger, and imo a much bigger threat than anything abroad. The question politicians need to be asking is to stop the hemorrhaging before every community, every street is a danger to walk down at night, and in many cases during the day.
