AH, Grover, are you serious with those points? Come on, man. With all do respect, you are exposing yourself more and more. If you are an investor, like you say, you can't even find ONE positive in these developments?

Before I get to you Qurious, I have to "shout out" to cAPS for his earlier post. Nicely put, the opiates seem to work well for you. Seriously, I think you pretty much nailed it from a neutral perspective and think that was the best post of the last month. Godspeed on your healing… Now I've got one post so here it goes:

Qurious my good friend, thanks for replying. If you define "investor" as one who has an equity stake, then sure buddy, I qualify. I come from a different world than you, though. I don't have to be burned 10 times before I take my hand off the hot burner. I know the ways of crooks and charlatans, and I understand how desperation can result in futile hope. Sort of a "Stockholm Syndrome" for rubes if you will. I know you live for Darth and Birdy's promises of great things happening and that equates to due diligence in your book. I'm also comfortable (and amused) by the unending personal slurs you hurl my way. "Paid basher"! "Exposing yourself"… "Troll"… Attack the messenger when you can't debate him, I presume?

Wow. And who says it's slow? I've been told, by a few people, that it is lightening fast. Do you remember when we could download? It was 3-4 seconds per song. Do you REALLY think they would allow the service to backtrack from that? Come on . I know you are smarter than that- and you are proving that you are reaching for anything you can find to bash.

Buddy, I don't have to reach. You're doing enough of that for both of us! There's no launch. Merely a multimedia carrot in the form of a webpage! Until we have verifiable proof of DOWNLOADS of music from the FOUR labels and their affiliates, we've got NOTHING. Don't you realize the reason this is all supposedly taking place in "the Orient"? And you talk about being told by "a few people" that it's lightning fast. Who are these people, Qurious? Do you actually think it is believable you have "oriental friends" testing QTRAX? Please back this up with some real data.

And do you think the portability is an issue?

OF COURSE I do, pal! Until we see there is downloaded content NOT wrapped in Windows Media DRM, we do not have true portability. And, as of today, we do not have downloadable content not wrapped in WMDRM. We've been over this time after time in here, haven't we?

So if that is proven, you will say, 'ah, you were right!'. They will not launch without portability. That is the whole freakin point of the service. And do you not think that the lack of a full catalog is something that will quickly come with one check? As in, funding coming in, correlating with launches? You are either being very naive or just trying to find any negative you can.

Funny, but I think the naive one is the guy who believes this is somehow different from what has happened time and time again in the past.

Again, grover, you are smarter than that- there are no carrots dangling. There has not even been a PR yet. They are not hyping ANYTHING!

Qurious my brother, get real. Who do you think bankrolls Birdy?? And a proper pump and dump only needs to benefit the MMs. And the MMs have obviously started their own PR campaign with the help of those like Birdy and Lord Vader. And remember history, Q- 5 PR's not worth the "paper" they were printed on pretty much rules out their being taken seriously by any intelligent investors, so BLLN is smart saying nothing.

They are just making the service work, a few countries at a time. And just wait until we see more... and CHINA! You will either disappear or you will surely find some other minor flaw to criticize. Give me a break- any REAL investor would be, at the VERY LEAST, a little encouraged at this point. Anyone would be. But no- not you. Even chewy sounded hopeful. I'm proud of him for letting that show, as painful as it might be. You are another story.

Real investors maintain intellectual skepticism and learn from their mistakes, Qurious. I'll be happy to put my career track record in investing up against yours, any time, any place.

One more thing- what about the MAC compatibility?? You should surely be happy about that!! You can discuss that on all of the mac forums you troll.

Careful, your rage is showing, my friend. Mac compatibility means iTunes compatibility. And iPod compatibility. We've got neither. Do your homework.
