I see where your negative attitude comes from if you're buying subpennies routinely. Last year was a chance to buy quality companies for a fraction of their value,some pink. CEMJQ at .06, F at 1.10. DAN in the 50's, VSTNQ etc. All hit by the financial melt down. They were beaten down but had underlying assets and were a sure bet to recover. CDIV is a whole new type of (retail) play. Not based on charts or underlying assets but on the value of the shares created by the lockdown. I keep talking about a paradigm shift. It's like going from Newtonian physics where everything was constant and understandable, to Einstein and Relativity. Old assumptions are no longer valid and the game is changed. The idea of a value play has been expanded to now include the FLD.
