I guess you still have to pay for your monthly internet otherwise the box is useless. Eventually this could replace the cable bill, but not in the near future.

Without a doubt in the future internet and television will all be connected through our big flatscreen monitors in our living rooms. Is this the best way, I don't know but it is the first step that will hopefully be commercialized and accepted by the general public. I am no techy by any means but tried to hook up my laptop to the flat screen with an hdmi cord and the quality was terrible when the picture was blown up to fit the tv.
