And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door; and its desire is for you, but you must master it" (gen 4:6,7, NASB ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------As an individual becomes depressed he tends to focus on how he feels. And while feelings certainly are important (they should be talked out and understood), an individual should be careful that he doesn't let them force him to withdraw. Involment in wholesome activities and behavior can help to change his bad feelings. Behavior precedes feelings. God told Cain that if he would do right, he would end up feeling right. The same principal applies to us today.
