The problem is simple. MMs are here to create a market and when everyone sits on the bid as they brag about here, and don't hit the ask, the MMs eventually take the stock in the direction of the pressure. Here we have downward pressure because everyone is camped out on the bid and not hitting the ask, so the MMs need to create volume. If all those who brag about sitting on the bid would hit the ask now we'd start moving upwards. Instead, we're going to have a bunch of people holding 6s that can't sell them higher... great job but at least you got your 6s right?
