Of course they are. They are trying to get it down so that it looks like there was no progres as we've seen today. It's a stop gap measure to cover up any traces of or actions. NITE is hoping we don't have the resolve and time to wait him out.

He forgets. HE's got to cover soon and we're just holding. LMAO!
