The topic of Naked Short Selling comes up quite a lot on these penny stock boards. Often cited are the RegSho reports. Of course, the accuracy of those reports even with respect to the actual short share count is questionable (even FINRA recommends caution). They same reports provide NO reliable information on NSS. What is interesting, and it happens often with MSBT is that the NSS story is used to explain weakness in the stock. There is zero evidence that NSS is at play here, and zero evidence that it is a factor in the current pps. What is evident is that there have been significant delays in the trial, questionable decisions made about that trial's design and endpoints, massive dilution of the stock etc.
Recently we have seen perhaps the most comedic in the NSS sage, that being SPNG. I refer you to the IHUB board for that very very interesting situation.
