I do not care whether a company labels what it is doing as "direct" or "indirect". The label used is not determinative of anything. The real question is whether the method used (however it is called) crosses Neomedia's patents. And that is a legal determination. It is. And so - as far as I am concerned - the only answer that counts right now is the one provided by Neomedia's patent counsel. Because that answer determines whether or not Neomedia should - at some point - be seeking a license or - if that proves unsuccessful - moving the issue to the courtroom.

And, for the record, there may be some sense in letting the garden grow some before firing up the combine. Especially when vigorously running the combine too soon may kill the crop.
