I got the new V2...works great once I figured out how to "double trigger" it....get the flag in the pinseeker circle, then relaease the button and press it again and it gives the yardage immediately...otherwise seems you hold it on there forever and it doesn't bring up a yardage...
I also like to see how far away bunkers are from off the tee...that helps me a lot too...
