I can't remember how much DD I put out on Erik Johannessen. Please forgive me if I repeat myself. But at least as far as Lifecare is concerned he is a main player and one of the main guys behind the technology:

This is a presentation he gave in 2008 on the Sencell technology. Granted without him speaking makes it hard to follow, but nice to look through either way.

The most interesting thing I found so far in my DD on him is that I saw he was the lead on these research articles which appeared in Biomedical Engineering. Might give us a better sense of other things Lifecare is working on. To piggyback off of their Sencell diabetes sensor, perhaps a GI sensor as well?
