Well it would certainly make sense on a lot of fronts to do so, big advertisers need to be aware of milestones like that I think, i'm not an expert but i'd be willing to bet that there is a hierarchy of sorts with regard to price/user base, and 2,000,000 is likely to trigger alerts for ad guys and pop Hypster up to the next level, much like we do a stock scan looking for volume/price increases to find a recently uptrending equity.

At that point I believe it starts to snowball, the links in the form of ads that link to major sites, help up the search engine ranking somewhat, likely triggering more alerts for the ad guys, the countless player-embeds from users on Myspace and Facebook add even more outside links to the site and also advertise FOR the site as friends try out the player and decide to take a look. The site is free, free to join, has more music than any i've seen, and a week into my membership and they STILL haven't spammed me, I LOVE THAT PART! lol!

Sure seems like a recipe for a perfect storm, again it's still a sub-penny pink lotto, dilution is always a concern with these things, but this a rare opportunity for an investor to be active, and I don't mean pumping/cheerleading on stock message boards, I mean by spreading the word about the business itself, Hypster, it's a great free service you are recommending, so you can feel good about suggesting it, AND help your investment out at the same time. I posted some notes on the music section of my local craigslist, as this is good exposure for new artists who sign up, and also on some other local bulletin boards and groups for musicians. Added it to FB etc.

GLTU!
