You guys are arguing over moot points! The fact the company is moving forward with a key investment to show “Proof” of the reduction of harmful emission from the use of their hydrogen cell products on combustion engines. This data (Proof) will open the doors to the government grants, which are awarded by the EPA to municipalities reducing emissions from their fleet vehicles.

I’m sure Dongfeng would be interested in the data as well. I wouldn’t trust them though, they are a very large company and they probably have already tested similar technology of their own and will use the data for comparison. JMHO, however I worked for a major automobile engine company DaimlerChrysler and I know for a fact that they spent millions of dollars on this same research while developing a hydrogen vehicle.

What’s working with this process is that the hydrocarbon fuel, be it gasoline or diesel fuel will not only burn but also chemically react with the hydrogen producing more energy. Another benefit to the introduction of the hydrogen to hydrocarbon mix is a more efficient combustion by dispensing the hydrocarbon molecules aerate more evenly throughout the combustion chamber. More efficient burn, better economy, less emissions.

March 15, 2010 PR / CEO Charlton Coats said, "Dongfeng Motors wants hard numbers, and that's what we are going to give them."

(Also in the same PR…)

“This unit will enable HHHI, a wholly owned subsidiary of Systems Evolution, to measure and record emission levels in ppm (parts per million) of carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and nitrous oxide from gas or diesel engines required by current EPA standards.”

Never Forget where you came from!
