So, the theory is that they're trying to ban the e-cigs because it could be a cancer producing agent yet those who are proven to be an effective cancer producing agents (reg cigs) are legally approved to be sold and consume at will.

Wonder who is behind all "these efforts" to ban the e-cigs?

The e-cigs have been going around for a while, specially in Europe, yet there is not a known case so far of any person using this device that has gotten cancer as a result of it.
