Initial reports from Intel facilities in Asia indicate that the powerful tsunami that struck the coastal regions of Asia early Sunday has apparently not directly impacted company operations or employees on the job.

Early Monday, The Intel Foundation pledged a direct donation of $100,000 in support of relief efforts in that region. Foundation staffers Monday morning are working with Intel employees in Asia to determine which organizations there are able to offer the best and quickest response.
