That's what I thought at first, but according to Ryanair's CEO recent comments on their trial with the digE, even on short haul flights they had pretty high rental rates, enough to justify the expense of deployment. Given the stereotypical view of American addiction to video entertainment and short attention span versus Europeans, I'd expect similar if not better results in the N. American market.
