Some questions for the board:

IBM
So far, IBM hasn't shown "that much" committment to Opteron ( versus Sun for example ) - which IMO is a shame (on them)!
Rumour has it that IBM prefers to take advantage of current cheap Xeon pricing , rather than offer a what IMO a customer should be buying, i.e. "True AMD64" Opterons !
( IBM readies 32-way Xeon server, hints at Opteron blade - http://www.techworld.com/opsys/news/index.cfm?NewsID=2857 )
Is this arrogance on the part of IBM - i.e. that for a few Dollars less, a customer should buy an IMO inferior product ?
...or is there some more sinister reason , eg. like IBM wishing to "push" their "Power" systems in preference to X86-64 ?

LENOVO
There's been a lot of talk on other message boards about how LENOVO should be "very good" for AMD. I have yet to see any "concrete proof" i.e. information-sources that say this !
Can anyone supply a link or explain ?

Intel's EM64T
Is this a "serious" competitor to AMD64 ?
I ask this question, because there's been a lot of buzz on message boards to the effect that no-one has yet seen these chips running X86-64 OS's or X86-64 applications for that matter !

I am Long on AMD - and consider that AMD is way undervalued as well as way "under appreciated" by the IT industry as well as WallStreet.

Thx

Phil
