Thanks, I learned something. Given these restrictions, I return to my earlier premise, that SNP will reprocess data with actual rock property data to better determine risked (resource) value. If commercially viable in their opinion, I would expect them to make an offer to buyout ERHC at something less than ERHC's proportionate risked value. ERHC provides no strategic value as a partner and their carry is an expense. Concurrently, they would release the data to STP. ERHC could either accept or begin to market themselves independently. Other interested parties would have to be comfortable being a minority partner to SNP and/or be strategically important to SNP for their development phase. This would take many months for parties to evaluate all the data. SNP would also likely have a ROFR (right-of-first-refusal). Regardless, a market price would be set for ERHC's interest.

Although its fun to speculate on the BB, these scenario hypotheticals help me understand how long I might have to wait until I see some value from my 5 year long investment.
