While the CEO and I may both be high school dropouts, I never sold cigarette filters and gadgets out of the trunk of my car at parking lots in Chicago, nor had to make undisclosed payments to defrauded shareholders at AT&T nor face an SEC suit for my filing false numbers on a 10-Q or annual report. Nor have I ever entered into bankruptcy.
But if one cannot obtain capital in the primary market, I agree, the next best thing is to sucker some idiots in the public to buying into your idea.
