Viking Systems Sees Positive Response
Viking Systems, Inc. (VKNG, Free Analysis), a developer of visual solutions for complex surgery, announced that its preclinical surgical video created using its 3DHD prototype visualization system was enthusiastically received during the 12th World Congress of Endoscopic Surgery held in Maryland from April 14-17, 2010.
The medical technology company plans to launch the device in the fourth quarter of 2010 to provide the highest quality 3DHD visualization in a cost-effective, standalone solution. In 2009, the company reported $7.22 million in sales and a narrowed $1 million net loss, with a relatively strong balance sheet containing no long-term debt.
