I don't understand why so many people think that the MM's are trying to hold a stock down??

It seems as though it just can't break past that mark, because the demand is not there to buy for anything more.

Volume is high, but seems like there are a low number of share holders who are holding the stock, and not many more that are actually buying in big.

What else could be at play?
