I found this very funny.

GOOD sales reps are VERY VERY VERY hard to find.

This "dartboard approach" to hiring sales reps (i.e. expecting 3000 on an internet advertising campaign, throwing them all at the darboard and hoping a few "stick") will, in my opinion, be LUCKY if they find 50 good reps.

However, those reps will be generating all these sales and make a decent commission.

The other 2950 reps will be the typical reps who say they are team players and go getters --- but in the end they will work one or two days a week, and then figure that this is a crappy job because they are only making $300 a month in commissions, so they quit.

This is reason you CAN make so much money in marketing - but most people don't.

For example - a real go getter in the Bahamas who sells 200 GOTV units in a month will make $5000, plus an extra $1000 a month.

If they can do this for 6 months in a row, they will have made $30,000 in immediate commissions, plus an extra $15,000 from the $5 a month - and they will make $6000 a month from that point on for doing NOTHING.

Just for hitting the pavement, taking out ads on craigs list and ebay, and selling just 7 units a day.

Not bad.
