I agree that the number of deaths caused by so called drug interactions is very minute compared to the amount of people who are receiving benefits from the same medications. Out of all the deaths which were blammed on a certain medications how many of those patients were close to the end already? The real benfit to pharmacogenomics will be the reduction in side effects of medications and taylor made compounds to ones genetic profile.
