Do some work for yourself and get on the SEC website and see what they have to say. As far as what anyone else does in exercising their rights that' their business. I don't care what you do and you shouldn't care what they do. Also I am an investor and no where in the rules for buying stock does it mention answering questions. You want answers then work for them.
