Every now and then, there’s a post that’s so utterly asinine it deserves Hall of Fame status. I’m hereby enshrining into the HoF the following post about GNVC:

Was halting enrollment in all TNFerade Trials a stroke of genius?

I would have to believe this did cause the stock to fall pennies lower then it would have had all other trials simply continued. However, if in another few weeks the company restarts most, if not all the trials, and perhaps if they cite the reasons they're resuming, perhaps including some data, couldn't that be far more positive than if the trials never stopped recruiting?

I don't know if this strategy was intentionally pursued, or not, but over time I believe recruitment will resume, and it will be a positive. Another question might be, do they all resume at the same time, or does the company announce one at a time they're resuming recruitment in a given trial, discussing the reasons for doing so. Personally, I wouldn't mind one a week until all that are achieving positive data are reestablished.

The above rivals a 2004 post about Genta that I had thought could not be equaled: #msg-3488611.
