Believe it or not, it is pretty easy once you know the rules and what to look for. This was just my first week and I left a lot of money on the table by being scared, not following the rules, and plain old lack of experience.
It's really making me sit back and evaluate life and the world we live in. Life really isn't fair by any stretch of the imagination. Not that it should be, but paper trading just highlights the insanity of the world we live in. For relatively no "real" labor (mouse clicks don't count to me) I made (on paper) much more than minimum wage while I was at my real "W." The only reason I haven't been doing this all my adult life is b/c I didn't know...and the government induced barrier to entry (25k minimum)
Knowledge is power.
My plan is to be like the Remora fish that rides under the shark. When the market feasts I eat too.
